The New York City subway is one of those unavoidable parts of life here. But no one actually like, wants to spend time on the train, right?
Well, this guy does.
Matthew Ahn, a 25-year-old lawyer has broken the Guinness World Record for traveling to every NYC subway station in a day.
Curbed reports that while he held the 2015 world record, traveling to every stop in approximately 22 hours, the opening of the 34th St- Hudson Yards station last fall made it invalid.
He did not accept the loss, obviously, and reclaimed his throne on a recent weekend, even beating his previous record– his journey began at 2:02 a.m. at Far Rockaway-Mott and ended 21 hours, 28 minutes, and 14 seconds later, at Flushing-Main St.
The New York Times asked him for a comment when he triumphed over himself and he responded, “I would like all the food, and then I would like to sleep.”
Wise words… but we hope he fits a shower in some time soon as well.
