An exhibition paying homage to Pink Floyd’s legacy, one of the most iconic and influential groups in music history, Pink Floyd: Their Mortal Remains, opened on London Victoria & Albert Museum today. There are many wonderful things on display in that exhibition.
Did you know that pigs could fly, a caravan of torture, original instrumentals, installations surrounded with iconic albums by Strom Thorgerson covers and much more! In addition, they have old concert tickets, t-shirts, and other merchandise accumulated over 50 years of accumulation will be available for fans to see. Museum director Martin Roth said: ‘’Pink Floyd is a tale of impressive and permanent creative success. Besides creating extraordinary music, it was a phenomenon with experimental light shows and their fabulous shows in early 1950s. The exhibit presents material from Pink Floyd’s own archive and reveals the story of the group.”
